The Empress card meaning

Nurture

Start with the key symbols, then read the message in the context of your own situation.

Upright

Abundance
love
nurturing
a rich harvest
creative growth

What you have tended is growing. Offer care to your body and mind instead of hurrying the harvest.

Reversed

Dependency
wastefulness
taking care for granted
stagnation

Caring for others may have left you out. Your own comfort makes generosity more sustainable.

A small practice for today

Prepare a nourishing meal for yourself.

A card’s meaning depends on the question and its context. Upright and reversed offer different perspectives for reflection, rather than a fixed judgment of good or bad.
