The Fool card meaning

Beginnings

Start with the key symbols, then read the message in the context of your own situation.

Upright

Freedom
new beginnings
innocence
unlimited potential

Curiosity is inviting you toward a new path. You can take a small first step without having every answer.

Reversed

Recklessness
lack of preparation
losing touch with reality
being swept along

Excitement may be rushing past preparation. Give your freedom a little structure before you leap.

A small practice for today

Try one small thing you have never done before.

A card’s meaning depends on the question and its context. Upright and reversed offer different perspectives for reflection, rather than a fixed judgment of good or bad.
